A snow blizzard couldn’t stop Bookham from reaching another League Cup final with a close but hardly fought out semi final V Albury.

Bookham started off as they had ended the last game, and Matt scored first to give Bookham the lead.

Albury came back and equalised, before Adam regained the lead for Bookham 2-1

Albury equalised again to go in 2-2 at half time

Second half Albury took the initiative and took the lead 3-2 before John scored an outrageous chip to make it 3-3

Albury took the lead again and late on Capt Ben scored the equaliser to make it 4-4

Extra time loomed and the teams couldn’t be separated, and so to penalties.

Ali scored first and John scored the second, with all 4 Albury penalties saved, so Bookham ran out 2-0 winners thus earning themselves a day out at Meadowbank Dorking on May 12th.
