U12 Falcons win Plate

Bookham Colts Falcons U12 4 – 1 Chiddingfold Chiefs U12

Despite sub zero temperatures and snow flurries the U12 South Surrey Plate final went ahead as planned on Saturday. It was Bookham who were first out of the blocks and after some delightful wing play from Olly the ball was squared across the goalmouth for Milo to stab home at the far post. Chiddingfold were soon back on level terms as the ball was bundled over the line after a fine solo run from the Chief’s striker. After the break Bookham began to turn the screw and dominated possession with some really neat passing and movement showing all they have learned this season. It was not long before Bookham added a second with a low drive from close range from Adam and as the confidence grew it was left to Kieran and Jake to complete the scoring. The high flying Falcons now go into the final part of the season needing to add only one point to secure the League and Cup double.
